About Us

At Saint John's Baptist Church of Scotch Plains, NJ, our mission is to reach people for Jesus Christ and help them grow to become more like Him. We are a church where everybody is somebody, and every member is called to be a faithful witness for Jesus Christ, sharing His love, truth, and hope in everyday life.

Grounded in the Baptist tradition, we are a community of believers united by faith in Jesus, baptized as a sign of our commitment to Him, and joined together to worship, grow, and serve. We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, and it serves as our foundation for faith, life, and ministry.

Our Vision

Our vision at Saint John's Baptist Church of Scotch Plains, NJ is to be a Christ-centered, Spirit-led community where lives are transformed, disciples are made, and every believer is equipped to be a bold witness for Jesus Christ, in our homes, our city, and the world.
